SailfishOS is fully functional and usable if you do not need any playstore-only apps. Even then they have now implemented microg in v5.0

Several excellent applications currently offer comprehensive alternatives to Google services. What are your preferred applications at this time? in c/[email protected]

I once had a Roundcube setup just to access gmail IMAP. It worked great and I did not have to get google tracking cookie.
