Every VM I've tried are horrendously laggy.
It was in BC though, municipalities don't give a shit about housing shortages, and BC government is forcing them to make more higher density housing.
Ofcourse we support proportional representation, except most of those parties we don't agree with and/or they just don't have a candidate in our districts.
Also NDP rn has a minority gov anyway so they might be forced by the Greens to try something.
What really pisses me off is that we had a referendum on this in 2018 and 61% voted for the current FPP system.
Yeah, I agree with everything you said!
From the bill itself:
Intimidation — building used for religious worship, etc. Start of inserted block 423.3 (1) Every person commits an offence who engages in any conduct with the intent to provoke a state of fear in a person in order to impede their access to
(a) a building or structure, or part of a building or structure, that is primarily used
(i) for religious worship, or
(ii) by an identifiable group, as defined in subsection 318(4),
(A) for administrative, social, cultural or sports activities or events,
(B) as an educational institution, including a daycare centre, or
(C) as a residence for seniors; or
(b) a cemetery.
Also :
Obstruction or interference with access Start of inserted block (2) Every person commits an offence who, without lawful authority, intentionally obstructs or interferes with another person’s lawful access to a building or structure, or part of a building or structure, referred to in paragraph (1)(a) or to a cemetery.
Also from the website for the bill: "The Bill would not enact “bubble zones” that create protest-free areas around designated buildings. Bubble zone laws are enacted by provinces and municipalities. For example, some provinces have established access zones around abortion clinics, and some municipalities have enacted bubble zone by-laws to provide for safe access to facilities like schools, daycares, and places of worship."
How is criminalizing "obstruction and intimidation aimed at protecting places of worship and institutions -- including schools, daycares and seniors’ residences" controversial?
It would have gotten us someplace good if it wasn't for the fact that the DNC kept underestimating Trump and putting in horrible candidates. A pile of shit could have won against Trump, yet the DNC let the nepo baby Hillary Clinton be their candidate? Not to mention Joe Biden in 2024 saying he "finally beat medicare?" And then last minute replacing him with a black/indian woman who performed horribly in the 2020 primary? Are you fucking kidding me? the DNC deserves almost as much of the blame as Trump imo. Utter incompetence and carelessness.
Vancity credit union uses standard TOTP. But RBC uses their stupid app where I live.
Cards are inconvenient

The performance is horrible for me, even for simple things like word processing, the cursor lag and choppyness makes it extremely frustrating for me.
Ive tried virtio, qxl, vga, and rdp. Rdp is the only one that's usable for me and it's still awful.
The only time it hasn't been bad for me is with GPU passthrough, but that's a huge pain, and I'd rather dual boot instead.
