I use a Mac Mini connected to my LG flatscreen and much prefer it to using my Apple TV to the same tv. Mainly due to having a keyboard and trackpad for the Mini versus the ATV remote and UI which I dislike quite a bit.
There are dozens available on eBay. I got one a few days ago . . .
