I suppose "expensive" is a relative term. It's expensive for me, especially when the alternative is free.

I have used Kagi quite a bit, and while I love it, I stopped using it.

1. It's expensive.
2. They don't contribute to the open internet in any way. Its a closed product.

If either of these things weren't true I'd probably still be paying for it.

Serious question. I've seen a few posts now about self-hosting PDF managers. Why is this useful? Why not just open a PDF application when I need to work with PDF?

I'd love if it were that way, but we had an insanely close vote, where the conservatives got record numbers of votes, even though they didnt win. And winning just got us another centrist (not really sure how I feel about him yet).
