Agree! I don't know how people do tea in this weather, and I love tea.

Smashing back the bottles of water like no tomorrow.

Alright refugees!

I reckon we need to have a threat to chat. About stuff. With reddit 'closing' for the next few days in some cases, and foreseeable in others, I felt like this thread was appropriate.

What are you all up to today? Anything interesting going on? I already know it's too hot.

I loved this design. Did debate buying one recently but there was no real point for me.

Would be cool to see someone shoehorn an 'M' chip into one of them

The Starfield/XGS stream is tomorrow (11th June) and I'm very excited!

I've been anticipating Starfield for a very long time and it's the game I'm most looking forward to. I'm really excited to see what gets shown tomorrow, I'm sure it'll only build the hype further for me.

In terms of the general XGS, I'm expecting more Forza Motorsport information, maybe a release date? I think we could also hear a little teaser about Fable. Overall, really interested to see where this show goes!

What are your predictions?

I woke up to a load of noise downstairs, went to investigate assuming it was my cat… who I couldn’t see. No problem, I thought.

Stood in the kitchen making a cuppa and I hear a very sorry meow, so obviously assumed my poor boy was hurt!

No. Completely wrong. Some random cat is sat on the windowsill in my living room. Dead lovely little thing that enjoyed a bit of fuss before I let it back out into the world!

I'm not sure I'm a true self-hoster as I only host a Plex server, but happy to be here reading about the cool stuff other people do!

Thanks for having me, lemmy.world!

These instances feel quite cosy. Homely, even. I think they're called instances? I don't know. Anyway, I'm here.

If anyone has any super-noob friendly tips for being a good Lemmy citizen then I'm all ears - I'm an iPhone user so any app recommendations would be greatly appreciated too!
