Keep things polite and relatively on topic. Beyond that I would moderate with a light touch until traffic increases.

Personally, it's the availability of surprisingly high quality Android apps for lemmy. I made my Kbin account first but the UX of many of the Lemmy apps are much better than kbin at the moment. My big pet peeve is how many actions it takes to access a list of my subscriptions (profile>hit the little sideways arrow to expose subscriptions>subscriptions>select magazine). I love the potential of the microblogs though so I'm excited to see where kbin goes as apps become available.

I'm experiencing the same exact issue with my lemm.ee account. I also have the same problem in Thunder and switching profiles to my lemmy.world account "fixes" the issue in both Thunder and Connect. Jerboa and Liftoff are still displaying subscriptions normally.

I'm experiencing a possibly related issue- I can only see local communities in my subscription list. Curiously, my frontpage seems to be functional with subscriptions to federated communities coming through like normal.

Too true haha, I have a few contacts on Signal and Telegram but I blew my shot and I can't blame the rest of my contacts for now wanting to switch again.

I'm one of the morons who convinced my friends and family to switch to Allo. I'm gonna sit this one out.
