Looking for some help. Currently with BT with what i'm almost 100% certain is only an ADSL line. Speeds are CRAP and i'm needing a solution. Spoken with Virgin to no avail although they advertise that they can supply the property. No plans for fibre anytime soon. A 5G modem seems to be the only option.
I'm fairly luck that i'm in a top floor flat and I can go on the roof and "search" for signal and i consistently receive a 5G connection on my phone (EE) that is 'fairly' reliable (sometimes slows down during peak times). Has anyone had any experience with the like of an EE/3 modem for reliable fast internet connections? What setup should i use, Is there a antenna I can fix on the roof to get better speeds?
