They will end up settling out of court for half that and he'll laugh all the way to the bank. Another grift executed.

This is a trick right?. Many of these states that they say have no grocery sales tax actually have a local tax on groceries. North Carolina for example has no statewide tax but has a uniform 2% local grocery tax.

The same alarm clock I have used since 1985. Still works like new.

Beats me. Never seen it. Just deep dived for an hour trying to find it but no luck. Wonder if it isn't some new splinter Green group. Or a local Green Party's flag. Where was this?

Is raw milk the new anti-vax?

The problem is all politicians live in a top down economy. They see GDP and employment rates go up and think things are great. They don't see the bottom up reality. Sure my wife and I are both employed but our pay is stagnant and our costs keep going up.

Granted Democrats seem to be trying to fix some of that but it's slow going.

United States Army Oath of Commissioned Officers

"I ___, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God"

Only difference is no promise to follow the presidents orders.

That is true. The President also swears to uphold and defend the constitution. Ordinarily that isn't a problem.
Sadly in Milleys case it was a problem and he was left in a a largly untenable position.

The Constitution...

United States Army Oath of Enlistment

"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God"

"Then Reagan happened"

So much said with so few words.

I might be a bit biased but I went for a Sony Xperia 1 Mark 4. Yes it is last years model but the performance is supurb. For me it was down to form factor. I tend to dislike curved or waterfall screens and Sony has stuck to truly flat screens. The second sticking point was expandable storage. Sony still has an SD card slot. I have 1.5TB of combined storage. The addition of an actual headphone jack and mechanical zoom lens were just icing on the cake.
