Hehe, it definitely is!

As someone who doesn't know too much about US politics, and haven't delved deep in the issue, it seems that the main issue is about "jury nullification for crimes that haven't happened yet", which LW considers "advocation to violence". Is that correct?

If yes, and you are looking for complete free speech, that can include things that can advocate violence (at least for some people), what would remain the difference between this and other instances like hexbear etc?

Welcome back to reading!

BrundleFly2077 has given a good suggestion. Other thing you can do is follow these weekly thread, this is from where I am finding new stuff to read (even though I still have list of hundreds of book that I want to read). Some people just share the name, but many also mention what the books are about, or how they are liking. So, look up what you find interesting and give it a try.

The more you read, the more you will find other stuff to read.

Also, some of the YA fiction can be pretty fun. Try a few and see if you like it or not.

Or you can share some of your favourites and let people here recommend you other things you may enjoy.

Heh, that's nice.

I did this with podcasts... I no longer listen to them now...

I can understand the feeling. Though I think she is working on more Murderbot diaries books, so you shouldn't have to wait too long for the next one.

I read Consider Phlebas long time ago, and didn't like it enough to continue the series. It has been long enough that maybe I should give the series another try.

Reading Three Days to Never by Tim Powers. The premise is pretty interesting, can't wait to see where he takes it.

As mentioned last week, @[email protected] and @[email protected] are working on something related to Bingo card for books.

Keep your eyes peeled, just one week (or so) to go.

Also, welcome @[email protected] as a newly minted mod of this community!

Now to topic at hand, what have you been reading or listening lately?

Didn't get time to read at all this week, so still at the same place as last week.

  • Reading Three Days to Never by Tim Powers. A standalone sci-fi book.

Some of you may remember the post about Bingo card a little while back? Well, @[email protected] and @[email protected] are cooking something up, which we will unveil in upcoming weeks.

Stay tuned!

Without further ado, what have you been reading or listening lately?

Finished Starsight by Brandon Sanderson. Second book in Cytoverse series. Loved the way the series progressed, though didn't liked the post-ending much. Going to start the novella soon.

Started Three Days to Never by Tim Powers. It's a standalone sci-fi. Don't remember who recommended Tim Powers or when, but he was mentioned in my list, so got couple of his books. I have just started the book, something is happening, but I am not sure what, so no idea what to think about it yet. Let's see how it turns out.

What about all of you? What have you been reading or listening lately?

Reading The Better Part of Valour by Tanya Huff. Book 2 of Confederation series. Life has been pretty busy lately, so this one is taking quite a while to finish.

What about all of you? Which books have you been reading or listening lately?

What about all of you? Which books have you been reading or listening lately?

Oooh. I loved Tress of the Emerald Sea. It was very refreshing style, if Yumi and the Nightmare Painter is anything similar, it's going to be great too.

Yeah, I have noticed, that most of the people on lemmy are pretty good. There isn't too much need to moderate the content. Ask Lemmy is probably one of the largest community on lemmy right now, it makes sense that it needs more time.
