Do share, if you don't mind, would love to take a look.
Wow, and I thought i bought too much when I bought 11 books.
I didn't buy Wind and Truth though, still have to re-read the whole series, so will be a while before I get around to it. Will get it soon-ish though.w
How are the Kinsey Milhone books? I have A, B and F. Wanted to read A and B to see if I like it before getting more.
Without knowing what your kid has read or likes, here's some info about my kid:
My kid is currently reading:
- Jeff Kinney's Diary of a Wimpy Kid
- Zanib Mian's Meet the Maliks series
- Zanib Mian's Planet Omar series
- Marcus Rashford's The Breakfast Club Adventures series
All of these have illustrations though. I feel Diary of a Wimpy kid has most of them, while rest have less, but they still have them. You should take a look to see if that's acceptable.
Other books/series I have been recommended here, but haven't started yet:
- R. L. Stine's Goosebumps
- Brandon Sanderson's Alcatraz vs The Evil Librarians
- Eion Cofler's Artemis Fowl
- B. B. Alston's Supernatural Investigations
This just reminded me I have yet to watch Happy Days. Have been meaning to watch it for ages. Maybe once I finish my current show.
Hehe, I think that's a problem many people here face. I am reading more than one book a month, that is pretty good with my schedule, but I am still buying more than I am reading, and adding more to my wishlist than I am buying, so probably not going to catch up in this lifetime.
I have started to look at it from the other side, I am not going to run out of the books and am always going to have something to read!
Thanks for the post (and for all your work on Book Bingo) @[email protected] !
I have completed about 9 squares (4 hard mode!), and 10th will be done soon. That's my next planned book. No bingo yet though, but there's still plenty of time. Have also done one alternate tile, so can just swap it with some uncompleted one if I get stuck.
One question: For 1E: It takes two, can other author be illustrator? Or they have to be the "author"?
Haha, I am one of those people. Never thought about like that. Though I go with "physical" not "real".
With my luck, if I get prepared for those, we would get completely different apocalypse, like Vampire one, or maybe Evil Robots.
Do share your review once you are done with it.
Not reading anything Fantasy right now. Unless we count manga, in that case, reading JuJutsu Kaisen. Just started it. Liking it so far.
We also have a weekly thread (not a lie) at /c/[email protected]. You're all welcome to join in on the discussion. It's about all books, so everything from Fantasy, sci-fi, romance, non-fiction, text books, all are welcome!
I agree with this. A combination of mood and settings, and to add @[email protected] 's answer to it, not all good decisions lead to good outcomes. Bad things happen to good people who are trying to do good things.
A combination of this all.
How are you liking the series?
