But it totally can mean just that. This kind of cognitive bias is crazy for a CEO to have. He should embrace the fact that the consumers have spoken and generate professional quality white noise tracks. As an MBA, that would be my gut reaction.
I can’t trust that HP didn’t pay Wired to write a fluff piece about their new product. Will wait for honest reviews from unbiased consumers.
I think that they should let the thousands of workers vote if they want to lose their jobs to prove a point. Of course the war is terrible, but so is displacing thousands of people who are still going to be eligible for the draft regardless. Probably even moreso when they no longer have jobs.
They have no choice. Exit Russia and leave thousands unemployed or follow Russian law and have business relatively as usual.
I am partial to a dedicated throwaway laptop because I have had the displeasure of accidentally blowing away my VM image’s code files on a roll-back, which is harder to do on bare metal. The biggest lesson learned their was to immediately learn how to use a remote server for code repository and push to dev branches often.
The Kinks, Preservation Act 1 & 2
The Kinks modernized rock, progressing through similar phases as The Beatles, they became increasingly experimental, taking on many different genres and instruments. I believe that The Beatles and many others learned different avenues to expand their sound from listening to The Kinks. Preservation Act 1 & 2 were a exposition into the realm of rock opera. It touches upon super modern and relevant concepts, such as crooked politicians, gentrification, getting old, censorship, etc. It plays out like a story, so please take the time to listen to the albums in order and not skip around. It is a master class of diverse rhythm and harmony. Any one of the songs on each album can get stuck in your head for days. In my mind, every song including the intro is a hit. If you like the album and want to listen to other ones by them, I would also recommend The Village Green Preservation Society, Schoolboys in Disgrace, Muswell Hillbillies, Everybody’s in Showbiz, Misfits, and Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround, Part One. What’s so interesting about The Kinks is you can ask someone else what their favorite albums are and they may list totally different ones by them from what I listed because they were so versatile across several decades, but I like these the best.

The article doesn’t say anywhere that they can get promotions. It seems to indicate that all servers are $30/hr and that no other levels exist to ascend to.
The system doesn’t make much sense if some servers are better than others, but make the same.
