But America really has remarkably weak and poorly designed institutions that only work as long people don't abuse it... Which is to neglect human nature and not prepare for it. America's flaunted "checks and balances" never worked

This is very american - these Gaza supporters protest the suffering of people thousands of miles away and yet think it is okay to bring suffering to everyone in his/her own street

Biden is not manly enough to do that

2024 lack of primary - this one I blame on Biden. Either he insisted to have the right to run because "this is a tradition, that incumbents run for second term" and/or the party held that view as well.

Every time Dems got owned by Repubs was due to this reliance on tradition

Correct. Democrats - especially the more SJW ones - keep advocating for the end of the Gaza genocide (which is a legitimate point) but won't offer any hope for own citizens who can't make ends meet due to inflation. Then the only choice is to vote to the other guy who promises those things. It is not that the other guy can improve this but at least he acknowledged that it was a problem that bothers voters.

True, but he made the most of the opportunity...

The ideal situation would be for good guys from both sides to take up on arms and overthrow their own governments to make this cycle stop, but then something will happen that they will come to hate each other again and the cycle will continue.

South Korea is just a "global partner" and protections afforded by NATO article 5 do not extend into "global partners", only to "full members". So, from a NATO perspective, it would be very convenient to send South Korean troops (or from any other non-NATO country) to reinforce Ukraine and avoid triggering Putin's claims of direct NATO involvement. In any case, South Korean cooperation would be needed to help handle an eventual influx of North Korean defectors and POWs

Exactly. He would just reapply under the category of "director of a company" or as "individual of extraordinary abilities".
