Glad I didn't wake up in the middle of the night to watch that. Overtakes just felt artificial, the only interesting battle was Gasly v Ocon, and we saw barely any of that because the coverage seems somehow even worse than last year.

I think that's what's making me lose interest more than the new rules. We saw basically nothing of cars lower than 6th place other than stupid picture in picture, if I wanted a screen that small I'd watch the whole thing on my phone. There was minimal graphics and even less talk about strategy with the new rules, where and why battery is being deployed etc. We're watching cars breeze past each other as the commentator screams about how exciting this is and keeps banging on about sweets. (This is Sky coverage, so idk if it's better elsewhere, but I assume everyone has the same images at least.)

I think Astons race strategy was created with crayons.

There's many gaps, but Liberty won't allow anyone to fill them. The complexity of the cars compared to the content us proles get fed is madness.

Attempt to avoid, fail to avoid, blurt out "heyhowareyouyeahgoodthankshowareyou", walk away and think about that interaction for the rest of the day.

We really need to start promoting therapy more...

Creates endless pain.

Cushioned shoes are bullshit. Go slow. Couch25k is great. Work on your form and strength too.

Must be a good store if you stay there half the year

Some great advice here, probably repeating others a bit but stuff that works for me:

  • to do lists for each day / physically writing stuff down
  • Generally work in 4 blocks (~60 - 90 mins each), 2 in the morning with a break in between then the same in the afternoon after a decent lunch break. (Afternoons are always less productive mind)
  • Seperate work/home laptops. Only work stuff happens on work laptop.
  • if I find I'm not being productive I just leave my desk for 5 mins then come back and try again.
  • lots of walks

For YouTube stuff I'd recommend an alternative front end like freetube. Much less in your face with throwing vids at you, plus no ads!

Happy for him to have a good race, it's been a while. I think the criticism of him goes a bit far sometimes, but he's definitely inconsistent.

Or maybe Oscat Piastri

My guess is he was looking down at his steering wheel to adjust some setting, as he thought he was coming into a big empty straight.
