My message is aimed at the anti AI crowd. Yes, there is a bit of a bubble right now, but AI progress will continue and it will become part of our daily lives just like the internet transformed how we live.

    F1 racing. Apparently a bunch of people are into it? Apple even made a movie about it with Brad Pitt, I assume to make it more popular since it seems Apple TV has some agreement with them for broadcast rights. I just can’t imagine watching cars go fast for over an hour. Not even 10 minutes tbh. I would rather read the transcript of a congressional hearing from the 90s than do that.

    You know how I know we’re not getting Medicare for all? Because a bunch of very wealthy corporatists are entrenched in our political system to the point that it’s unfathomable that anything could ever happen that is actually good for we, the people, if it is not profitable for them.
