Running TrueNAS with 4TB usable mirrored storage, 32GB RAM, and an i5-7600. Mostly holds backed up files from my switch from Windows to NixOS. I've got it running Frigate with a Coral TPU, Gitea, Homer, Unifi Controller, and Uptime Kuma. I was managing some helm charts on the TrueNAS k3s cluster with flux but conveniently dialed back to only using their built-in apps right before they removed it in favor of docker only.

For the network I'm running OPNSense on a Protectli device with Ubiquiti Unifi for the wifi. The native WireGuard integration on OPNSense is pretty nice.

Part-Time Lover

  • 1.5 oz silver tequila
  • .75 oz lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz St Germain
  • 0.5 oz Campari (I didn't have Aperol)

Shaken with ice, strained into ice-filled lowball with some lemon peel.

Very easy to make and pretty refreshing, and the Campari isn't too overbearing. I'll have to grab some Aperol for next time, though.

We make Alton Brown's recipe frequently at my house.

We tend to skip on the 3-day pickled pork journey in favor of a much easier kielbasa or andouille sausage. You might be able to try vegetarian sausages, but I don't know how well they'll hold up to the 2 hour cook time.

We use a ghost pepper hot sauce for a nice kick, but halve the amount to a 1/2 teaspoon to keep things reasonable.

It's spicy, savory, and "earthy" with the green peppers, celery, and bay leaves.

The rice recipe he gives is my go to for rice in general, too. I really like fluffy, non-sticky result of using basmati for it.

Gravity Rush is great. Persona 4 Golden and all of the Danganronpa series were my favorites on the Vita.

Muramasa Rebirth was also good, though I don't remember much about the story.
