I understand the pushback due to concerns of farmlands turning to datacenters. However, this nationwide pushback never seemed to apply to SM when expanding their malls by having to cut trees or even those turning farmlands to subdivisions. The pushbacks were mostly local. Now that it is being turned for something productive, the pushback is nationwide. Sad.

Not a troll. I am already aware of lemmy a few years ago during the days where everyone stopped using reddit for a while because of that thrid party app thing. I just didn't move into yet, not until I am now fed up with the reddit shadowban even after constant appeals. And, lemmy world seems to be strict with account creations that block the use of email masks.

Well i guess, all that can be done is a downvote rather than a proper discussion. How'd propagandists even care about this platform anyway considering there's very little engagements here. They're all on reddit I'm pretty sure. If you worry about propaganda, think of why other countries would actually want to stop PH from getting these probable foreign investments.

Even if we stop the data centers here, they will just build somewhere else and the money will be funneled there. I really want more foreign investments for our country. I believe we are in a good position with the water consumption because we receive a lot of rainfall.
