I think former presidents should get a more dramatic and unique prison to rot in.

I vote Alcatraz

You'll be waiting forever, the only way to make changes to the parties is to change them from within

The number of times where it becomes clear that a Marxist is arguing from a conclusion is too high to be ignored.

That's just how Marxism is, he claimed that our course of economic history is the only way it could have gone with a single data point then concluded that the current system (in 1850) would imminently collapse.

I don't know why anyone lends credence to his theories

Agreed about the survivors part, it seems like a major oversight that I hope they can explain in a satisfying way.

As for the Gorn on the ship, I presumed it was just a crewman trying to gather intelligence on the Federation by picking through the remains of the saucer section

But those two tidbits about Tom Clancy are fun.

The NSA reviewed his books and asked him to present his sources because he concluded a bunch of classified information using unclassified sources.

Feel free to tl;dw me for the link, it's only fair, but it's a very interesting listen

For what you're saying to make sense, any large protest in a country would have to potentially void any international treaty that country is party to.

It does happen, that's how the US dodged all its debts to France after the revolution

Iron-air batteries seem rather promising for being cheap and scalable
