Vaguely reminds me of “The Batman” Batmobile.
Also, why is the lighting poor in every shot?

Firefox on iOS uses WebKit.
I think you’ve inadvertently narrowed down that the issue is an extension you have enabled for Safari. Since it’s not the website itself.
I’d argue the worst thing to happen to the Mac was hand-in-hand the Dawn of the App Store in Snow Leopard, and the fall of Version Tracker as the go-to resource for discovering apps.
If a rival App Store means that we get a functional search tool for iOS—and then by proxy the Mac—then I am all for it.
You’re not wrong, but in my anecdotal experience, I’m biking a lot more with my e-bike than I was with my regular bike. I’ve got some awful and long hills that I just wouldn’t bother with otherwise.
Also, I think it’s a misconception that e-bikes function as electric motorcycles.
E-bikes set a minimum speed. If you’re pedaling and fall below that threshold, the motor will kick in and offer support. But that’s the thing, you have to be pedaling. If you don’t then you’re going to lose velocity and stop.
To be fair, you can use the electric throttle to run without pedaling, but that kills the battery quick without pedaling easing the load.
Does Lemmy have a concept of a moderator queue? It could strike a happy balance between the bot overwhelming the community and having a diversity of content.
I mean, I get the point you’re making, but 40K, even if it is the industry average, is yikes money.
Tesla specifically isn’t unaffordable.
Cars in general are unaffordable.
It feels weird living in a timeline where a major ecological shift for the better was spearheaded in part by such an awful excuse of a human being.
Any update on that VPN breaking issue?
I do recall reading about some that can digest plastic a while back… but they weren’t especially efficient at it and if given the opportunity to digest something more conventional, they’d prioritize that. I also don’t recall what the plastic was broken down into.
At the very least it’s a lead, if not actually a solution.
Nah. Luigi had a personality prior to the 3D era. His modern portrayal is, at bare minimum, inspired by the Super Mario Adventure comics, where he was portrayed as the more cowardly of the two brothers. And that’s not even looking into things like the Super Show, which created Toad’s modern voice or the CYOA novels.
He put a voice to that persona, but he didn’t create it whole cloth.
I think this tribute video which paraphrases Janeway's eulogy for the NASA astronaut, does an excellent job feeling like a Star Trek intro without plagiarizing the Enterprise creed.
I'm not sure how a Lower Decks intro would work. Despite being a comedy, Lower Decks plays Star Treks tropes straight and with dignity, even if they have some fun with them. The monologue would have to go to Mariner, or maybe Boimler. But Mariner, as she has yet been portrayed on screen so far, would be incapable of giving the intro the gravitas the monologue would demand. Freeman certainly could, but that would steal the focus from the Lower Deckers.
I think a monologue could work really well with Prodigy… more like a recap of how the kids stole the Protostar and that they intend to reach the federation… That said… the mission changes episode to episode… so maybe a dynamic Monologue would work?
I feel like this is a large portion of the missing puzzle pieces. The difference between real world and advertised ICE stats are somewhat padded, but not significantly. You'd expect the hybrids to have a similar degree of discrepancy, but it's wildly out of range of expectations. It may simply be that the manufacturers are giving idealized stats, since while testing they would have access to their personal charger in a laboratory environment. But in the real world, owners cannot guarantee working/accessable chargers or even that they can charge at home, which would dramatically impact the results of this study.
Or at least, I'd assume that's the case in the US. I don't know what EU's charging infrastructure is like, where the study was preformed.
