All the tools are in place already to make sure journalists/platforms get punished (i.e. stop reading their crap.) Problem is people that only read and hear what they want to believe.

There is very little point of talking about abortion to anyone over the age of 25. They've already made up their mind and you won't convince them to change. The only solution is voting. in c/[email protected]

Reasons to just do away (I am not suggesting a government ban) on competive sports. Ex. basketball, football, baseball, damn near everything else. I wasn't always like this. Had a conversation with wife of a co-worker 20 some years ago and thought she was nuts. Funny how time and reconsideration can change a person outlook.

A huge waste of time. Unproductive except for large corporations and inflating players egos.

It reinforces division and us vs. them attitudes. Not unity and cooperation like what is needed today.

Add in b.s. like taking a knee during the anthem and men in womens sports, let's just do away with competive sports.

If you want to 'stick it to the man' of overpaid athletes and mega-rich sports conglomerates, please consider.

I now spend my sundays at the rifle range.

Yeah, i hate the advent of candles and light bulbs. Imagine living so far from the equator you get 4-5 months of 24/7 darkness and don't have to do a damn thing! Sweet.

I worked w guy that did 7 years in state pen in like 1990's. They were made to go out on work crews (not chain-gangs.) Picking up trash from side of road sorta stuff. They actually made a competition out of it to see who could do the most work. Said it felt good to actually be giving back to society.

I asked what if you wanted to be the guy that stood there and refused to work? He said you could, but the inmates would make that person pay when they got back to lockup.

How does this apply to your reddit banning post? Not sure but I figure i better leave there before i get banned. My first post on lemme.
