Today on "Tech company uses horrible vision of the future from science fiction as marketing for their own horrible vision of the future":
Audio Engineer here. Not sure Ardour can open video, but it's a capable DAW and open source. Reaper is closed source but it can open (and even render) pretty much any video format. To actually seperate a single voice, you do need additional plugins though, no matter which DAW you're using.
I think iZotope RX could do it, but it is fairly expensive. I haven't seen any open source audio tools that can do this at all. It is pretty much guaranteed to require some kind of machine learning, as parametrically seperating by EQ or phase won't work if you have only one source signal (even with two or more microphones, it would be really, really hard).
A very good spectral editor might technically work, it would however take several days of manually deleting select frequencies on an almost single sample level and still sound bad, especially if the noise is nearly the same level as the signal.
This might not be everyones cup of tea, but metal and hardcore are full of protest music. Heaven Shall Burn for example is lyricly anti-fascist and environmentalist (live video because that show is fucking legendary).
Isn't arithmetic a class in Hogwarts and just a fancy word for maths (not a native speaker)? I think only Hermione takes it though and it's only mentioned in the books.
It's trying its best ok
Wenn man einmal Suizid begeht, macht man es den Rest des Lebens!!!!!1!11!1elf
I really hope it's good, but I just really would rather see a series set on the Enterprise G or maybe a show that doesn't rely on well-known characters at all. Anyone wanna convince me Starfleet Academy will be great?
Or satire? Please tell me it's satire.
You underestimate my ability to blunder
This entire thread looks like everyone who stopped using Linux over 2 or 3 years ago should have another look at it, so many (now) none-issues.

There is a Wookie padawan in The Clone Wars and I absolutely approve.
