Yep! I believe the developers made the game while the book was being written to give a simulation of the books concepts. So far very cool, and gives a LOT of info that kinda makes me wish i'd read it first tbh

Just finished Phenomenology of the Capitalist Eternisation by Joรฃo Romeiro Hermeto. Overall really enjoyed it, some parts were slightly beyond my understanding but it was definetely the wakeup call i needed to get more involved than i already am in organising. Capitalism isnt this eternal monolith that many perceive it as, and it can be overcome!

Moving on to an easier read in Half Earth Socialism by Troy Vettese and Drew Pendergrass. I played the game based on it a while ago andordered the book before completely forgetting about it. Its very much a utopian book, so im mostly reading it for fun and less for studying but so far it has quite a lot of useful info about the perils of weather control systems. A good break from theory while i focus more on my last term of uni!

Just finished Communism, the highest stage of Ecology, its left me wanting to pursue more books about ecology and agriculture more broadly, especially since i was just volunteering at a agriculture show during the weekend. Next up on my list though is Phenomenology of the Capitalist Eternisation by Joรฃo Romeiro Hermeto. I'm mostly trying to tackle a backlog of Iskra Published titles at the moment but this one seems really interesting. One of the first "lefty" books I read was Capitalist Realism by Mark Fisher, this feels similar in topic so far but with a far more revolutionary edge than Mark Fishers book. (I'm only 20 or so pages in though so take what im saying very loosly, could be miles off)

Been reading Communism, the Highest Stage of Ecology by Guillaume Suing. The stuff of Cubas agroecological practices has been really interesting to learn about as well as the history of Soviet planning in this space. Just finished a chapter which talks pretty positively of Lysenko, gonna have to read more on him but not sure where to start
