Not seeing any of those issues here.

First thing I did was turn off

Settings > Photos > View full HDR

That can help with viewing images.

Not seeing any sharpening issues on faces in decent light, and have shot about a billion of my two year old on various iPhones (currently 15 Pro)

I really don’t think Verizon would conspire with Apple to reduce bandwidth on non- iphone15s.

Cos that would affect every other iPhone user, and Verizon and Apple would be in a world of pain.

Could just be transient network issues.

But no, there is no conspiracy theory to be found here.

Safari is a web browser, Google is an ad company with a popular search engine and suite of other apps designed to improve ad revenue.

I am confused - how are the two connected as an either/or situation?

Depends entirely on what you want from your watch face.

Some people want reams of data - Modular Ultra is perfect.

Some people want a picture of their cat - photo face.

Some people want clean and sophisticated - there’s a few

Some people want a lovable beagle and his flying buddy - apparently there’s a fun solution there too!!

Personally - Chrono Pro since day one - everything I need, nothing I don’t.
