Why is there an org and an account? It seems a bit confusing to find the official one. Especially as both have the same logo and both have a lot of followers. The former seems to be the by T_X in c/fdroid@lemmy.ml

@otter @dadarobot ah! Thanks for the clarification! And #Lemmy was this federated #Reddit alternative, I remember now.
Would be great if that were somehow reflected in the @fdroid profile name or description... I guess not everyone on #Mastodon is aware of that.
Also if I search for "fdroid" on Mastodon then I find the Lemmy account and not the official one, even if I then click on profiles.
(Maybe the official @fdroidorg could fix that by adding an #fdroid hashtag to their profile description?)

@fdroidorg @fdroid and the first boost I'm getting is from the imposter account :D? Or am I missing something? Some internal feud, OSS drama or mutiny? :D
