@Coud I would think from a storage perspective it shouldn’t be an issue. The cartridges should be able to hold 10x the storage of an average Switch game, so should be plenty for a next gen console.

@echo64 It’s got to be tough though for developers to even begin to make a successor for that game. Racing games are limited in scope as it is, (can’t be open world like botw) and MK8 excels in the cartoonish graphics Mario is known for. So no idea what they’re gonna do without making it feel like Super Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Plus.

@TwilightVulpine Yeah, a completely non Ganon story would be nice.

@TwilightVulpine I can imagine a a sequel where you explore the continent North and West of Hyrule, and the ocean East and South. And the current version of Hyrule would be “rebuilt” as a safe place or home base type area, with cities and ruins restored etc…

@Kichae @nintendo I hate the real curbs in the newer cups courses. Either use a racing curb, wall it off, or let us journey off course, even if that means a pit of death.

@TAG Nintendo has all but opted out of mobile gaming, and does not produce a dedicated portable system. To create a new console, and a separate portable console, both in hardware and software, at this juncture seems unfathomable.
