iPhones cellular connections come in three flavors currently, depending on where you buy them.

Dual eSIm — integrated, no physical SIM card, one or two active networks that can be switched as needed. Multiple eSIMS can be stored but only two can be available at any one time.

Hybrid — one physical SIM card and one active eSIM. Multiple stored eSIMs.

Dual SIM - double sided SIM reader for two physical SIMs.

Apparently one DIYer removed the little plastic spacer occupying the SIM card tray on his dual eSIM model and replaced it with a dual SIM tray from a Chinese model. He now can use one or two physical SIMs or remove one or two and use eSIMs instead. Don’t know how legit it is, but it’s a fun thought.

Natural. Mainly so I wouldn’t need to worry about discoloration issues with the black, white or blue one.

Also to match my Apple Watch Ultra.

Why is the Green band fifty dollars less?

Less demand. Simple as that.

I would also like the option to just be able to purchase the Watch separately.

The 41/45 mm models have a larger screen. While the 44 mm could handle the on-screen keyboard, the 40 wouldn’t do so nearly as well and they’re not going to have it missing from just one model.

So you’re complaining about a software feature is directly tied to hardware considerations and justifiably absent.

Are you getting a notification, or are you just happy to see me? 😏

I’m betting most of us had the same one.

I’m sure someone makes an arm strap for the Watch. That said, if you don’t care for the smartwatch features, ecosystem integration, or having it on your wrist, why don’t you just get something else?

You’re in work focus. With no sarcasm or mockery, only genuine curiosity, how did you not know that? It won’t do it by default. You have to set it up.

Hypothetically, an active cellular watch would be fine paired to an iPad. But when you get down to it, there would be issues. You still need the parent iPhone app for most Watch apps and many iPhone apps aren’t available on iPad. And at its core, the Watch is still meant as a compliment to the iPhone, not a replacement. The addition of cellular hasn’t changed that.
