Great, another game I'll never buy due to console exclusivity. I had no idea just a few years ago that this would actually be a fucking issue with VR.

It's really not a chore if you don't pick super exclusive trackers. RuTracker, if I remember correctly, doesn't really have requirements to join, and they don't even monitor ratios anymore. All files should come with English tracks, and your browser can already auto-translate the site for you. Even the ones that do require seeding give you a grace period to build it up, and all you have to do is set an automatic ratio goal of 100% or so on your torrent client.
I thought it was understood that 1337 is about as fucked as the bay? Private Russian trackers are universally the way to go, but there's still better resources outside of that on the reddit megathread
Interesting idea, I'm running dual monitors and higher than 60 fps on one of them only. That monitor also has g-sync and some other nvidia gimmicks, but as far as I know I don't have any of them enabled. I also keep drivers updated religiously, so we can check that box.
I made sure to download the latest runtime after seeing that error the first time, but no dice. They also have no information on their site whatsoever regarding any dependencies for this software or their links in general.
God damn it, I should have waited
Sorry if the formatting on the event log entries got fucked, I'm still figuring out how to use these text fields properly
I'm interested in seeing how they translated sweaty, competitive shooter gameplay to VR. That being said, I really fuckin hate the new e-sports swaggot style they're adding to shooters right now, eg The Finals and this. I'm sure they're both tones of fun to play, and Finals looks genuinely impressive from a technical standpoint, but it Just makes the whole thing feel so stupid to me. Like, get into a real sport and let video games be video games for christ sake
While this is to be expected, they better be leaving those sets with the ability to be used as PCVR without always-online policies. If they're basically bricking them by making them simultaneously unsecure and network dependent, that's just one more reason Meta should be burnt to the fucking ground.
The fuck? These are more expensive than some treadmills, why bother?
