I live East pretty close to the cities. I go there every now and then but I make sure I never stay long.

"If I was in your situation I don’t think I would stay in the state."

I see where you're coming from. It's wild out here.

The problem with analyzing Patrick Bateman is that it's like analyzing Jason Voorhees or Mike Myers. Bateman doesn't really have a character outside of just being a sadist.

I can't be the only one who thought of Cloud Atlas?

Jordan Neely is anything but a victim of the system. Neely was a violent criminal who was given chance after chance by the system to reform himself. He was even given a place to stay by the court but he left after a week. As the British would say Neely was a wasteman. Neely had over 40+ arrests and had a long history of violence sure he had a rough childhood and the drug addiction but there are plenty of who have that and don't grow up to menaces to society like Neely.

Daniel Penny was completely in the right and did nothing wrong. Neely was threatening everyone in that train and punched an elderly woman in the face. All Daniel Penny did was what the police should have done. Frankly, the only victims of the system here are the people of New York who had to deal with Neely's reign of Terror.

I tried Reddit but I had enough with all the rules and corporate cleanliness of it. I used this site called 'Saidit' for a bit but but no one ever posted there so I looked into Reddit alternatives and stumbled across Lemmy. The rest is history

I understand what you're saying. I've been thinking of alternative timelines and all of the good ones involve being rich. I would do anything to live in a big fancy mansion with my boyfriend in somewhere warm and have so much money I could just go to any shop I want and buy whatever without thinking of the price. Every way you look at it being rich is ideal. This is why I would love to be a 1970s rockstar. Steady and huge flow of income, adoring fans, fame, endless opportunities, sexy groupies and all the drugs and alcohol you could want but I am stuck in my stupid, miserable life.

"Do you have any interests or things you like to spend time with? Video games? Animals? Exercise? Drawing? Writing? Makeup? Anime? Cooking? It doesn’t matter if you think you’re bad at them – I’d recommend pursuing those interests."

I don't really have much interests tbh. Makeup is way to expensive and I don't have the ability to care for a animal. I don't really watch shows cuz I don't have the attention span. Same with art.
