I found I couldn't really get into the characters sure to the amount of pov switching. It also felt like the buildup didn't quite pay off and the bbeg was just a few words on there page.
Empathy over sympathy definitely helps. I've learned to just keep my mouth shut because I want to help fix things or provide some logic.
To my understanding, yes.... Equally terrifying
The vastness of space terrifies me. All those places at the farthest points are most likely dead, creeping ever closer to us.
