Probably not no, flying really does emit a shit ton
"The 50-year-old is at least the fifth environmental campaigner to be jailed on tax evasion charges in the last two years as Vietnam’s authoritarian government steps up a crackdown on activists."
Seems legit..
If everyone went plant based we would need much much less farmland and thus need way less fertilizer.
So what you're saying is.. just one more lane?
Please stop bringing up fringe cases when talking about general problem, they could still have straws but the default is no straw, people that need it ask, or people that need straws could bring their own straws.
It's silly to use this to justify a straw coming with every drink ever.
:)
Check out https://veganbootcamp.org/ it's a free program with lots of info, courses and personal help.
https://www.happycow.net/ for finding restaurants with vegan food.
I also feel this with veganism, it's crushingly depressing being surrounded by so much casual violence and if you bring it up people think you're a weirdo and mean..
Everything is already political
Cows are living beings who shouldn't be property and shouldn't be exploited for profit/taste.
Come on buddy, starting a debate and then refusing to actually debate is very silly.
I'm not forcing anything on anyone, this is an internet forum, you aren't a victim for reading some words.
Being against animal cruelty and climate change isn't trying to control peoples bodies lol.
I'm specifically trying to get people to stop using animals as property, controlling their bodies..
If I want to eat meat, that is my right as a living, breathing, functional and helpful human of this planet.
What about the rights of other animals?
Should they not have a right to life without you needlessly torturing and eating them?

Something tasting nice isn't a good reason to subsidize a destructive industry.
There's less harmful and still great tasting alternatives.
