So much nonsense being spewed here. Only a few states in the us even allow “unlimited” internet via cable. 1.2 teraBYTES not bits. The higher speed is only a problem if you’re allowing all 25 of your mobile phones to sling Facebook streaming adds ALL DAY LONG. You would have to stream like 700 HD movies each 2 hours long to get close to 1.2 terabytes! There is not enough time in the month to watch 1400 hours of streaming movies. Now if you’re dumping whole websites full of data onto a backup hard drive or full YouTube videos all day long onto a local hard drive AND having your reload all 30 games you have on your pc etc. during a one month period, THEN you may get past 1.2 teraBYTES. That being said… DUMP that piece of shit Comcast modem/wifi combo and get yourself a REAL voice modem and a nice router with Multiple REAL antennas with multiple wireless channels. I had that pos comcast voice modem Wi-Fi combo and my tv was literally 25 feet from my modem line of SIGHT and it would still have problems staying connected. I bought my own voice modem and a separate gaming router and NOW I can connect my cell phone to my router ACROSS the fricken STREET at my neighbors house! And my house has aluminum siding. Tv no longer looses connection during a streaming movie eight separate times each movie. Self install is super easy over the phone. Good luck!
