Mid 30s, US. First car was a manual, but I have an automatic now. I do miss it, but I probably drive much safer now that it's less fun. Even though it was just a beat up old passat I always felt like I was in forza driving the manual

Where I live they legalized marijuana, but didn't issue licenses for legal dispensaries for almost two years. Nearly every corner store and head shop is a front . There's even a pizza shop near by with weed for sale openly.

My wife calls it "chore-play" and it seems to really work for her. Even if its a trick, the house will be clean and everyone gets a little fun, what's the harm?

The Banshee of Inisherin, I really enjoyed it. Very odd and funny in an uncomfortable, uneasy way. I especially enjoyed Kerry Condon as Siobhán, her performance was a great emotional counter point to the dead pan comedy between Colm and Pádraic.

A place to share and discuss bluegrass music.

Since this is Guitars, here is my Martin D-16. This guitar is my favorite I've ever played, it has great tone for a such a young guitar.

If any of you folks are interested in bluegrass guitar, or bluegrass in general, please come check out lemmy.world/c/bluegrass.

It's a brand new community I'm trying to get going, so come check it out if you'd like!

This is the subreddit I'll miss most. I'm at about 120 days after 20 years of drinking because of the people in that sub inspiring me. I would start a similar community here but I don't really feel like I could handle running something like that.
