It's because they roll up into a cute little ball and it tickles us in a way nothing else does

I'll never have the cathartic moment I was dreaming about when I was a teenager where I learn martial arts and get to beat the crap out of some massive asshole who totally deserves it and everyone in the room would agree. I did the hard part of learning martial arts but I'm just not hot-headed enough to fight someone anymore. I resolve conflicts with words and any time I've had to defend myself, I've just kind of been able to separate myself from the initiator without really hurting anybody and they gave up once they didn't have a hold of me. There aren't many realistic scenarios where I have absolutely no choice but to hurt someone, and I can see those scenarios ahead of time and avoid them anyway.

Clever haha

Fortunately no, it's just a hypothetical for now. But I've been thinking about it for a while in regards to old friends that I don't keep up with.

My non-expert but I just read a book about clouds guess:

Those cirrus clouds are typically made of ice crystals. A plane disturbed them, leaving a contrail of water. Water refracts light differently than ice, seen more clearly at dusk.

I don't even care that much about the band stuff. I liked his movies when he was little, and when he started a gaming channel I realized I now find him very annoying. He comes across as full of himself and desperate for attention.

I know it's a meme but can somebody set me straight? I swear I read somewhere that this narrative started with the research community saying, essentially, "we know a number of ways in which they might have achieved this feat but we aren't sure which one they used," but the entertainment/conspiracy communities heard "there is no explanation for how these people were able to achieve this feat."

Because the idea that your success and well-being might in some part be down to luck is too big a pill to swallow for some people. Folks love to flaunt success despite the disadvantages they faced, but are so quick to reject that they had any advantages. In this case maybe not everyone wants to be just like you (not you you but them you lol). Maybe they don't want your friends and your lifestyle, or somehow don't have as much access to those, but they still want a halfway decent support system.

First I'll do whatever I can to be sure my communications and whereabouts aren't trackable, tell my friends how to contact me, and recommend they use the same channels anyway.

Then I'll find protests to go to and local campaigns to support however I see fit, and I'll do that right up to the point where I feel unsafe, at which point I don't know how I procede.

Terry Pratchett! The Discworld books have kept me busy for years now and I don't even consider myself much of a reader.
