This person was doing the bit where they were misgendering a hypothetical bigot to prove a point and I told them that "misgendering even hypothetical people is never okay because it suggests that being gendered properly is conditional" and they got defensive and I pulled the "youre cis, shut up and listen" card when they started calling me aggressive (I was coddling them up until that point)

I would like the perspective of other non-cis leftists on this

As a former 19 y/o who was having sex with people that age and older- it entirely depends, but if you've done kink and consent education you probably have better boundary skills than most adult USians, and more experienced people showing you the ropes is nice.

But this is coming from a lesbian perspective and 19 y/o shouldn't be dating 26 y/o.

Ugh the Ana thing: no, it isnt ableism to be mad at someone who:

  1. Claims a position of moral superiority and works at Lockheed Martin

  2. Claimed to live entirely off of patron and donations from poor trans disabled folks while literally working at Lockheed Martin and owning a 400k home

  3. took part in justifying the harassment of Isabel Fall.. perhaps because her story was about the weaponization of queer identity by the military industrial complex

That people are comparing this to like... unreasonably canceling any other trans person kinda sickens me. There is a difference between being fucked up and doing fucked up shit (or not actually, just people making shit up about you) and being a collaborator in weapons manufacturing

I used to not care and then I realized that the way Depp is suing Heard for defamation also sets a precedent for talking about abuse you suffered being something you're civilly liable for
