You can use environment.etc to manage a file in /etc: https://search.nixos.org/options?show=environment.etc.

I've had this happen when trying to use a password longer than 60 characters. I could set it just fine through registration or password reset, but I could not log in with it. Limiting the length of my password to 60 characters resolved the issue.
Don't know about 13, but I'm using it on 12 without issues. I mostly just block things though, so I've not tested spoofing data.
XPrivacyLua is no longer maintained YFI. It still seems to work just fine for now, but that probably won't last. I've not found a good replacement for it yet.
I keep my keys on a Yubikey. I've not really had a need to use the GPG portion of this on Android, but it works fine on Linux and MacOS.

They would show for others on your instance, but not for people on other instances, so each instance will have a separate downvote counter.
The preorders haven't started yet, which I guess they just implemented by setting the stock to 0. Preorders open at the 1st of May at 9:00AM PST according to the product page.
