Wherr did you get the claim that 100k cd is over 1 km? For example the Acebeam L35 2.0 has 105k cd on turbo, and claimed distance is cca 650 m. The calculations are, well, a lot more complex than "times 10 and done".

Still better than me with baseball cap :D hats like fedora or panama are amazingly great fit for me. Proper size. Trilby (the type of fedora on the picture), is not that fashionable, tho. But wrong size and this picture made the bad reputation for almost all fedoras, except the Linux one.
