I like to think that I have a decent grasp of the world, particularly as a Marxist. But sometimes I really struggle to get into the settler cultural mindset. And many looming pension crises in western countries. This is all very unstable and unsustainable. Costs rising everywhere, minimum wage not increasing at all (in the US). Something's got to give.
