It’s damn funny and self aware
That's almost all isekai today, though. Even the most hackneyed isekai authors are starting to realize the genre has been beaten to death so thoroughly that they must throws some new spin on their trite and the standard these days is "isekai but it's self-aware!" Even that has been done countless times already.
Päätös itsessään on ihan asiallinen mutta muodostuu vähän kaksiteräiseksi miekaksi sen suhteen miten sitä tullaan jatkossa käyttämään. On peisettiä sanoa että 100% verotus tai sellainen joka ajaa jonkin yhteiskunnan osan nälkäkuolemaan ei ole asiallista, mutta toisaalta samalla tällä voidaan myös perustella vaikkapa pääomatuloveron poistamista ja muita rikkaimman prosentin verohelpotuksia sekä hyvinvointiyhteiskunnan nahistamista yövartijavaltioksi mikä ei taasen ole kovinkaan toivottavaa.
Nykyinen ottaa lainaa, koska sen pitää maksaa myös edellisten hallitusten ottamat lainat.
Tämä tuntuu olevan semmoinen jännän selektiivisesti toimiva argumentti. Oikeistohallitukset ovat aina pakon edessä kun perhanan edellinen vasemmistohallitus, vasemmistohallituksiin taas edeltävän oikeistohallituksen kausi ei vaikuta mitenkään vaan ihan itse ottavat lainaa silkasta ottamisen ilosta...
I really wish they went over the weapons for the next edition and made sure that at the very least there were no weapons that were objectively worse than another. Might want to just homogenize the weapons under some handful of archetypes that have some legitimate advantages over each other.
I once played a cleric worshipping Loviatar so thematically I made him use whips as his weapon of choice. Roleplay-wise I loved it, gameplay-wise 1d4 damage is ass and reach allowing me to mostly harmlessly tickle the enemies from very slightly farther away is absolutely useless 99% of the time.
Yeah, it's depressing how much of wasted potential the criterion dungeons are. They fill a nice niche of 4 player hard content and being generally somewhere between extreme and savage, but the fact that the rewards are garbage mean most raiders aren't ever going back in after their first clear solely for the experience. All content sorely needs rewards to bring people back in to keep it alive and criterion dungeons are doing the absolute worst of all content except maybe rival wings.
This is definitely interesting and I look forward to see how it plays.
At the same time, I remain slightly skeptical, as big brand name tie-in products often tend to be less than stellar. It takes a lot of effort, testing and polishing to put out at truly good TTRPG system and it's not easy even for big companies that are dedicated to the industry. I'd love to see this succeed and continue to get extra material in the future, but at same time I've seen one too many fail trying to do things like this.
Brings to mind the Dark Souls TTRPG book built on top of D&D 5e, which was a thick tome absolutely chock full of gorgeus art and just as full of baffling, contradictory and clearly not at all playtested rules. Such a shame.
Muistan että vuosia takaperin poliisin nettisivuilla luki ettei liikenteessä jaettavien sakkojen tarkoitus ole varainkeruu vaan toimia keppinä motivoimaan turvallisempaan liikennekäyttäytymiseen. Sittemmin tuollainen kuvaus on sivuilta ymmärrettävästi poistettu.
Mielestäni tällaista muutosta ei tulisi tehdä talousperusteisesti, vaan ainoastaan jos voidaan osoittaa positiivinen vaikutus liikenneturvallisuuteen. Muutenkin liikennevirhemaksu tuloihin suhteuttamattomana sakkona rankaisee lähinnä valmiiksi tiukassa taloustilanteessa olevia ja menee rikkailta ohi olankohautuksella, mikä toki on nykyisen hallituksen tavoitteiden kanssa linjassa.
Castlevania > Demon Slayer (Kimetsu No Yaiba)
The only mildly warm part of this take is that Castlevania isn't really anime but western animation.
Demon Slayer has amazing visuals thanks to Ufotable, but outside of that the story and characters are as bland as, if not even worse than in any other painfully mediocre battle shonen to ever come out. If you look at shows as a whole instead of hyper-focusing on animation quality, pretty much anything with even mediocre writing will beat it.

No joo-o, yleensä poliisista on eniten apua kun ne soittaa johonkin oikeaan hätään eikä vaan kertoakseen sattumanvaraisia havaintoja ympäröivästä maailmasta. Olisihan poliisi toki voinut olla avuksi siirtämällä hysteerikon syrjemmälle pilaamasta nuorison iltaa.
Olen suunnattoman pettynyt kun Käärijä-karsina ei tarkoittanutkaan ihmisten laittamista sellaisiin puuhökkeleihin jollainen Käärijällä oli viisuesityksessä mukana.
Female/male are used in English as adjectives when describing humans, but as nouns they only refer to animals. "She is a woman" and "She is a female actress" are both okay but calling women "females" is purposefully demeaning and sexist. I do not believe there is any regional difference in this, nor should we really care about such since there are no regions when we're on a global forum.
Ihan samaa tietoisen valehtelun ja "herää kysymys" jaqing offin jatkumoa tämä on kuin sekin kun Halla-Aho väitti tullin harjoituksen olleen salainen operaatio tuoda Al-Holin väkeä maahan. Hävettää kollektiivisesti että tällainen manipulointi uppoaa kansaan niin hyvin että tämä puliveivari pääsee näin korkeisiin poliittisiin virkoihin.
