100% agree. You mean I'm gonna have to listen to Brother Lampard ramble on about his experience living in Guatemala for the rest of eternity? I'll be searching out the fire and brimstone out before the end of the first week.

Swears are a sledge hammer. Many tasks don't require a sledgehammer. But sometimes you need a sledgehammer.

I'm not even into magic and I'm offended

And, depending on where in the world they go, they may have to walk a lot to talk to people about the walk.

Since they don't appear to be on Hoopla your best bet might be trying an Inter-library loan for the "Marvel Masterworks: Golden Age Captain America" books. This page should have all the information you would need for the request, though check with your library for the specific method https://www.marvel.com/comics/collection/39345/marvel_masterworks_golden_age_captain_america_vol_1_trade_paperback

As a heads up, Marvel has only reprinted issues 1-20 and 76-78 of the original "Captain America Comics" series. You specifically mentioned Jack Kirby in your post, so if you're only interested in stuff he worked on you're fine, as he only did issues 1-10 and then left Timely until he returned in the late 50s or early 60s. But if you're interested in the entirety of the Golden Age stories then the only way currently to read pages 21-75 are to purchase physical versions (which is impossible for most people) or pirate them.

Thanks for this! I've been trying to be better at just this sort of things at my tables, so your videos are coming at the perfect time.

But you are trying to maximize fun, so if these types of skills help you increase the fun at your table then it's good to implement, regardless of whether or not it's usually viewed as a "workplace skill".

I'm intrigued, what kinds of things?

Not only am I going to pick it up, I'm gonna try and eat it

My dad has talked about potentially getting into comics, particularly the hulk as he grew up on the Lou Ferigno TV show. I'm not well versed in hulk lore, is there a run that matches the vibe of the TV show? Preferably something collected into a trade.

Honestly this is why I prefer the "alternate universe" theory. I know the writers claim he stayed in the main timeline, but I don't buy it exactly for the reasons you mentioned. Alternate universe lets him fix problems rather than just letting all that stuff happen.

I would personally HATE this. Moreso the levels than the gear. Maybe a single session or dungeon that I know is going to be short, but if I had to regain those levels I'd contemplate leaving the campaign.

Animorphs with D&D? This is the best day ever.

One of my backup characters is to do a druid that's a reflavored centaur with the telepathic feat to make an Andalite.
