This sounds technically correct but too provider-side for my application (i.e. others that are looking at my documentation won't know what it means)

yea that's fair! I'm just looking for a term to use in my documentation for a site that has both modems and ONTs and i want to label them "xxx1" and "xxx2".

Was just curious if there is an umbrella term for the devices such as Modems and ONTs that act as your ISP interface, since you can't call them all Modems...

learn how to coil a cable properly. Over-under is a good method.

Hey all

I was gifted a couple of used UniFi U6-Pro APs. I have set them up to broadcast a main SSID and they work great. But I also wanted to setup a guest SSID too.

I know I can do this by creating a Guest VLAN, but that is not an option for the setup I am working with (there is an unmanaged switch in the system that will strip the VLAN tag)

I see there is Guest Hotspot. I tried setting that up with a new SSID. I can connect to the SSID but when it asks me to login to the Hotspot it crashes the page and I never get to the Landing Page.

Help please!
