But nearly 3000 people died on 9/11. For something to be 15 times worse it would imply that 45,000 people died.
Also this post is not a meme.

People need to urgently stop using Lemmy world so they no longer have any power to abuse.
SAY "KHITOMER" AGAIN! SAY "KHITOMER" AGAIN! I DARE YOU! I DOUBLE-DARE YOU, MOTHERFUCKER!! SAY "KHITOMER" ONE MORE GODDAMN TIME!
What I want from a new anime in the Dragon Ball universe is a prequel to the OG Dragon Ball. I want to see Grandpa Gohan, Master Roshi, Master Shen and the Ox King in their younger years with shenanigans similar to the OG Dragon Ball tournaments etc..
I don't trust them implicitly, but I do believe they are less likely to do certain things than Google which is enough to use them instead of Google for Email.
Was Geordi's blindness even a genetic issue?
I actually really like the flat colors look with no gradients. Kind of like how the default web Lemmy UI is, but I wouldn't use rounded corners anywhere. Back in the day I spent a lot of time theming my XP computer to look like this. Then eventually Windows ended up doing something similar in later OS versions. I have a tiny blog thing that looks pretty much to how I like it.
What I hated was the glassy transparency nonsense. Windows itself still has a few transparency options which I will always turn off.
It's the best at creating rampant consumerism and waste in the name of fake numbers going up at the cost of human happiness and fulfillment.
There are no ads I want to see. If I am looking to make a purchase I will specifically seek it out. There is no advertising for anything I want that is acceptable.
Implementing ads is more against the philosophy of free and open source software than it is with Lemmy or any piece of FOSS software specifically. As for Lemmy we just won't see any ads on Lemmy.ml in particular which is run by the Lemmy developers. It's also not entirely true that there is nothing to lose by just cutting off the Lemmy instance that starts implementing ads if people start getting to attached to specific communities or user accounts of theirs. It would be nice if Lemmy had some kind of community and user migration to mitigate this risk.
I find it really difficult to believe there is any benefit to him buying and killing Twitter for billions of dollars. It would have to be extremely contrived and possibly a really well kept conspiracy.
Why can't they make phones with flat backs anymore? Why the needless protrusion so it can no longer lay flat? Add in more battery if you have to.
What about on a Huawei phone? If it wasn't there to begin with and had to be installed I'd expect it could also be uninstalled. I don't have a Huawei phone to test it out.
