Why do you have to be a moron to not be blown away by the phone?
Regular people could not tell you what it is or notice the difference between types of screens. Most people who can tell the difference probably only notice because they know the difference exists.
The Action button only matters if you use it.
So on your list the only thing a regular person is going to notice is that the top right corner says 5G now instead of 4G, the camera is marginally better, and that they have to use USB C instead of lightning. Doesn't make them a moron if these things don't improve their quality of life with the phone...
