they say it’s an online installer, I didn’t knew. I didn’t connect the steam deck to internet for the install (planning to do it after), I ll try this evening to connect to the wifi for the install process

The following error occurred during installation. This is a fatal error and the installation will be interrupted.

The command ostree container image deploy --sysroot=/mnt/sysimage --image=/run/install/repo/bazzite-deck-stable --transport=oci --no-signature-verification exited with code 1.

Hello I m facing issues during the installation on my steam deck led 1To.

I tried multiple time using a usb to usb c adapter for my usb key and using the official dock station.

I also check using command and there is not another efi boot like in the troubleshoot guide of bazzite website.

Before it was the official SteamOS , but there was 2 versions and a big buggy (it’s why I decided to erase and install bazzite instead).

Any idea how to fix the issues ?

Regards

Broke my teeth with endeavour because of the bluetooth. Using bazzite for the moment and it’s fine since.

sometime it’s better, for example signal is more popular as an alternative and value more privacy. But if you want to go a step further then you can go use less popular tools.

I didn’t switch yet because I don’t own replace messenger and whatsapp by 3-4 new product..

Hello everyone,

I'm new to Linux (currently using EndeavourOS), and the journey has been... an adventure. But like Frodo carrying the One Ring, I'm struggling with Bluetooth. I can't get my headphones or mouse to connect. Meanwhile, my keyboard works thanks to a dedicated HP dongle, and my Xbox controller is running via a Windows-certified dongle (after summoning xone).

So, I ask you, wise wizards of Linux:

💍 Is there a single dongle to rule them all? One Bluetooth adapter to bind them, to pair them all, and in the darkness... not fail me?

❓ Why did everything work fine on Windows natively, while Linux demands multiple dongles? Even my Xbox controller (though occasionally possessed) worked without extra setup.

🔍 Can you recommend multiple Bluetooth dongle alternatives that work well on Linux? I try to avoid Amazon as much as possible, and finding good options elsewhere is a quest of its own.

If you have insights, fixes, or a dongle that truly rules them all, I’d really appreciate your guidance! 🧙‍♂️

Thanks in advance!
