oh yeah no the last Canadian election was scary, but that can be true for basically any country. same thing for invasions. but i get what you mean.

i just feel this is one of those things your just going to have to weigh your pros and cons. one good thing about Canada the culture shift won't be as drastic, of course if your good at adjusting that won't really matter.

i hear Canada is pretty trans friendly from some friends that live in Montréal they also said Vancouver is pretty chill too.

Oh I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day, I was just pointing out it has quite a bit of history. Though having a big feast in the middle of February sounds kinda fun I might start doing that.

At some point in history it was known as feast of Saint Valentines, so pot luck is probably a pretty solid way to celebrate.

Valentines day has a quiet a bit of history too though.

Some people believe that Valentine's day only came to be because of lupercalia, witch was a festival.

Absolutely everything, so many things with emotional attachment that'll I'll never be able to replace because I don't make much money. I have cloud backups of my PC so at least all of that will be recoverable.

But a childhood friend lives in the same complex as me so I guess I have a couch to sleep on, and can order a new bank card from his computer at least.

Aaaaand thankfully he has a couple of my important backup 2fa recovery things stored at his place so even without my phone I can get access to my email and bank account.

You know what I'm going to take a chance on it, I'll report back later.

I like it here, unfortunately a lot of the more niche communities that I'm in haven't, and probably won't migrate here.

Spanish is my first language but nowadays I rarely use it, so I just stick to default stuff. If I still activity spoke Spanish everyday id probably make a effort to change up the grammar.
