Isn't NASA funded by tax payer's dollars? I guess you can look at it as a government funded non-profit research lab that it's mission statement is to generate technological advancements for the general public's benefit.

Thanks, but what started these strikes in the first place? Was there a key event that started this whole thing?

I'm in the same situation, yet I still manually choose the language I post in. Even the comment you've posted now is marked "English". So maybe it assumes it's English by default? Or maybe it performs a rudimentary check on the type of Unicode characters in the post and assumes the language from it?

I've seen headlines about actors/actresses protesting about stuff. The same goes for other creative talent in the entertainment industry. What's going on there? What are their demands? What fueled these protests all of a sudden?

Cool, I didn't know that. In my instance's UI the default is "Undetermined" and I have to constantly be vigilant to manually change it to "English" before posting, so I was surprised someone actually bothered to mislabel their text's language. But maybe it's just a misconfiguration on my end and not something everyone deals with.

Isn't option 2 the default on Windows? I never understood the rationale behind this behavior. When I click on anywhere on the scrollbar I expect it to jump where I clicked on it. Unfortunately when I'm forced to use Windows it makes the clicking on the scrollbar useless to me, and it forces me to drag the scrollbar where I want it to go - I much prefer Gnome's default behavior. I'm curious, if you are willing to say, how is this feature useful to you?

Ah, yes, that's definitely English
