This is obviously reductive because there are government stakes in most private companies, but I'm mostly looking for a general opinion. So, if you HAD to put a percentage to it, what would your estimate be?

Follow up: What percent would North Korea be? Vietnam? USA? Russia? India? Iran?

Follow up 2: Is that percentage increasing or decreasing? I would assume it's increasing, but it's difficult to tell because the change seems to be taking place over the span of decades.

I've always considered Europe to be a junior partner in imperialism, but, especially since the 2025 trade war capitulation, it seems there has been a qualitative shift in their world status.

Comprador leadership, military occupation, and tech subordination are all hallmarks of a neocolony, and Europe has all 3.

It was too expensive, there was a huge language barrier, and the quality of life wouldn't have been been better in most cases.

We're still in the early days of organization in the imperial core. People simply have no idea what to look for in a leader.

So far Mamdani is a just a city mayor, but also the de-facto leader of the American socialist movement in the eyes of the public. He will eventually need to superceeded as unprecedented changes to material reality continue to occur.
