In all seriousness, there is a stark difference between writing a letter and drawing a letter. Give the artist some time to draw a word and I bet it'd look great, but that's not an efficient way to jot down notes or a list.
Wonderful! :3
What's next, is this same dog gonna wait outside the pizza joint for Phillip J. Fry?

Hey, please update the title to follow the post formatting of an "irl community" (in our case, a word, followed by irl). Artist credit in the title is great, but yeah I'll give some time to update it (e.g. Artist_irl (Paws and Effect)). Thank you!
You know what they say, it's Thursday o'clock somewhere.
Posting your own art to furry_irl is awesome actually. I mod it and I'd love to see more OC on there (assuming it's a meme or relatable, which this comic is). Just check out the rules and share away!

I think Lemmy is simply too small for that level of separation at the moment. Of course anyone is welcome to make a new community on this server, but I wouldn't say we are anywhere near the point of content saturation that it's necessary to split it up to prevent stuff from being drowned out. The server is fielding maybe a handful of posts a day locally across all communities, any kind of art or discussion at all will be seen and appreciated.
Yup, and never bothered to clarify even when responses were given or when explicitly called out on apparent contradictions. Reposting images or memes is one thing, since the image is the whole point, but I can't comprehend reposting personal asks from Reddit over to Lemmy. The entire point of a community like this would be to give help and answers to the actual OP, who in this case would never even see them.
These aren't stories, these aren't entertainment, they are (supposed to be) earnest questions people want answers to. I replied to a few of them assuming good faith, and received not a single word back. It's just lame, I thought they were honestly asking for some guidance initially.
