Remember when evil was allowed the greater evil to win (Reagen/Thatcher) and the Left in the English-speaking world turned more left as the after effect, creating a wave of new and innovative left-leaning thought?

Oh right, Bill Clinton and Tony Blair.

When was the legislature in Democratic hands, and they were not busy with more important political priorities (which, if you were living in the early Obama 1st term, people wanted a lot out of government than codifying Roe V. Wade).

What is the point of wasting everyone's time if the Republicans control part of the Congress?

We seriously cannot expect the USA/EU to bail out Russian Federation every time for their poor foreign policy decisions. No international order can be sustained that way.

More people voting in the US → The political conversation shifts left as more progressive/leftists candidates are viable. A lot of elections in the US happen in small amount of votes, also known as narrow margins.

People not voting because not voting for the perfect candidate feels icky → As the conservative candidates are more favoured by people voting less, this shifts electoral politics right.

I would prefer to live in a world where Americans would vote between centre and left candidates, for instance, than centre and right (relatively speaking, of course) as they do today.

I get it. You love your favorite politicians winning by the margins instead of shifting American electoral politics left, as conservatives getting elected doesn't make the populace magically more leftist.

If you don't vote defensively, you are part of the problem. This is true whether you are in a multiparty system or the 'American one'.

For everything else, there will always be the Debian Foundation.

Exactly. Everyone has a device that can tell them when the machine is done. It is the programmable alarm in everyone's mobile phone.

Nintendo would have coup the government if the decision made this scenario actually possible.

Hi!

I have been playing WoW (more on the private side) for a while now on my Linux machine. However, as time passes by, one does wish to look for different games.

Could anyone recommend me an MMO that works on Linux? More specifically, I have tried quite a number that have been ported natively to Linux, so I was wondering if anyone knows ones they have had a fun time playing which work through Wine or Proton. I have tried few ones other than WoW, but especially their launchers fail to work with Wine.
