Awesome stuff! Just started using connect and am enjoying it. Great work!

Is it intended to not have a downvote option on swipe actions? Thanks!

On my home feed on Pixelfed.social. I would expect posts with followed tags to show up under my home feed unless that is not intended.

Man my only issue with pixelfed is followed tags aren't showing up on my feed. There a issue already submitted, so hopefully it's resolved soon!

Just added the tablet live dashboard to my ever-changing sim racing rig.

I really like the way it turned out. It's just an old Galaxy Tab4 attached to the desk with a car mount. Running SimHub and Simhub Android app.

It allowed me to stop using RaceLabs Advanced Panel Overlay which I was looking to do. Plus it looks neat.

Some info about the rig for anyone who cares...

3 random 24in curved monitors. 75hz, 144hz, 75hz mounted to a desk via monitor arms.

The next thing I'm looking to upgrade to is a better triple monitor mount. My current setup allows for too much sagging.

Cheers!

Not a huge fan, but I understand the thinking.

My issue with it, is let's say there's a self post and I respond to it. Knowing it's a bot post, I still want to contribute to the community, but I know I'm unlikely to get a response. It's possible it could start a conversation here though.

I get its a way to fill the communities with content, but it feels like a half baked attempt. Or an inflation of interactions.

Not sure the right route in these early days though.

Kbin support is exciting. Should be interesting.

yep!

I used to run an old Dell R610. Used a decent amount of power.

Switched to an old 4th gen quadcore i7 laptop.

Been running great, uses less power, has a built in display and keyboard.

Linux base, Docker Env for most everything else.

Holy shit that's sleek. Gonna give that a go for a while.

Cthulhu, the cosmic horror, received an unexpected gift from his grandmother, Shub'Niggurath—an ugly sweater.

Despite its clash with his terrifying image, Cthulhu embraced the garment, finding it a symbol of familial love.

As he wore the sweater, whispers spread, making him an enigmatic figure. The paradox intrigued cosmic beings, and Cthulhu's presence became associated with both terror and the power of love.

My obsession with sim racing has grown significantly, and I've thoroughly enjoyed pushing my limits to enhance my skills. I wanted to keep track of my progress and potentially participate in competitive events in Assetto Corsa.

Fortunately, I stumbled upon some fantastic options for competitive racing.

One of my personal favorites is the World Sim Series (WSS), which boasts a user-friendly web interface and offers a wide range of racing opportunities.

Another exceptional choice is United Racing Data (URD), a comprehensive platform that caters to all your racing needs.

For thrilling live hot lap competitions, I highly recommend checking out SetupsAndTimes and RSRLiveTiming.

To experience a more realistic racing atmosphere, Sim Racing System (SRS) organizes races where participants are required to register using their legal names, ensuring fair competition.

If you're interested in learning more, I've provided additional details about each of these options.

Are there any other platforms you use that I haven't mentioned?

(I'm assuming this how you "cross post"....?)

so i've made a few posts here and there, but after I post they do not show up under my profile under posts. My comments show up, but posts do not. Am I missing something?

Cheers

edit: was my issue. thanks! "Probably, you have the “show read posts” setting disabled. "

Hey all. One of the best features of 3rd party reddit apps was hiding the post once you viewed or scrolled past so that you wouldn't see the same post each time you open the app/site. I believe this one done via the hide post feature via 3rd party apps. Does Lemmy support anything like this? Thanks!
