Let me rephrase, is there anywhere that isn’t a circlejerk in either direction? I came here hoping it would be like Reddit pre 2016 where most of the main subs would at least have discussion and debate in the comments and not just a bunch of people blindly agreeing with each other.

Is there a way to show number of upvotes and downvotes on a post or comment? (lemmy.world)
 

Old Reddit with Reddit Enhancement Suite used to allow the user to see the number of upvotes and downvotes on a post that comprised the score. It was nice to know if a post with a score of -10 was 3 upvotes and 13 downvotes or 103 upvotes with 113 downvotes.
