I haven't read them yet, but I would say the "Materialist Revision of Maltese History" series by Maltese author Mark Camilleri, there's one that covers the period 870-1919, and the other one from 1919-1979. He has both books on his blog, unfortunately I haven't been able to find free versions online. His blog is here

What are some good books that cover the North Korean economy?

Hello, I am looking for resources, preferably books but also scientific articles, videos, etc that cover the political and economic history of the unequal development between Northern and Southern Italy. I am asking for resources that cover the history of how Southern Italy was wealthy in ancient times, how Northern Italy industrialised and replaced the South as the wealthier region and how Northern Italy effectively treated the South as a colonial subject. I have already read Antonio Gramsci's "The Southern Question" and am looking for more books like it. Thank you.

I'm from Malta and although our government supports Ukraine (diplomatically not so much materially), they recognise that most Maltese wants to remain neutral.

Yes although I should probably re-read it given it has been some time since I last read it.

I am looking for book recommendations or other resources that cover the history of Fascist economics, particularly in Nazi Germany or Fascist Italy.

I am asking for book recommendations on European Social Democracy, the history into how it started and how it developed over time, and how it continues today in exploiting the global south.

I'm asking for book recommendations in understanding Social Democracy through a Marxist perspective, particularly European Social Democracy.

Book recommendations on the history and development of Social Democracy in Europe and the continued exploitation of the global south by the Social Democratic countries of Europe

This is my first post here and I'm not sure if I should even be asking this here but I'm looking for resources on the history of computing/programming in the Soviet Union or other socialist states like East Germany, North Korea, Vietnam, etc, resources including videos, podcasts, books, etc.
